The CCG’s Community Involvement Group provides a valuable source of insight and input from key voluntary sector and community organisations about  patient and public engagement and equalities in commissioning.  The group meets every two months and membership is drawn from local organisations and groups that are largely representative of groups with protected equality characteristics as well as representation from Richmond Council, Richmond Council for Voluntary Services and Healthwatch Richmond.

You can view previous community involvement group (CIG) meeting notes on our publications page.

Public Health also engage with the group on the JSNA work programme and public health led commissioning to ensure the local voice in public health needs assessments and identification of future health priorities.
